Building better habits is hard, especially in the beginning. Huge changes hardly work. Directing for one large step doesn’t end well and micro habits are huge step for future betterment. Many people rely on habit-building systems to start new healthy habits.


A great system can give your willpower a break, so you can focus on repeatable behaviors that deliver results-systems applied well will make your habits automatic over time.

We are so blessed every time we’re able to fill a water bottle with clean, drinkable, fresh H2O whenever we want. Drink it and appreciate it!


2. Make Your Bed Every Day


When you make your bed in the morning, you start the day with a task completed. And if you have a trash day, you’ll return to a bed that is made.


3. Avoid Packaged Foods & Sugary Drinks


The vast majority of nicely packaged snacks contain lots of processed food or are high in sugar. They give our brains an injection of glucose which, once burned, dumps us into fatigue. Eat whole foods for sustained energy and mental clarity.


It takes a fraction of a second to decide on a non-sugary drink instead of a sugary one.

You can write what you’ve done in the day. This makes us more reflective and gives us a thread to track our memories through life. Lately, I’ve been using the Day One app to track my entries.

Many people write resolutions every year and don’t look at them until the following year.

Routinely carving out time to organize your online calendar helps you see important happenings, like upcoming bills, birthdays, and events, weeks and months in advance, signaling you to prepare.
